Hard work is not an option, It’s a Necessity!
He was born on June 15, 1992, in Nagri, Gharbia, Egypt. He was not very good in academics as a child. After this, he began to look for things to cover up his shortcomings until eventually he found his love for football. In spite of difficulties with academics, he continued to play football and sharpen his skills.
While playing in a small school league, he impressed the coach of a football club in Cairo with his skills and was invited to join. To get there, he had to change five buses since it was a long way from home! He was willing to make that sacrifice for his passion.
Since he had to change five buses just to get to his club, he used to leave his house early in the morning. His skills and intelligence on the pitch led to him becoming a key player for his local team and eventually catching the eye of a European team FC Basel.
Although his dream was about to come true, he was reluctant to leave his family and home. He signed the contract and became the first player from his city to play in Europe. It was only for football that he went there.
Mohammed Salah is now the most popular player from Egypt who has successfully penetrated European football. Although Salah failed to win several World Cup awards, he remains a frightening figure who deserves to be noted. His story teaches that when you live for passion, hard work is not an option, it is a necessity.
